Over $50,000 raised at the DockDogs National Championships!
We are happy to announce that this past October over $50,000 was raised for Chase Away K9 Cancer at the 2009 DockDogs National Championships in Mason, OH. Many of you know that this year DockDogs launched their own fundraising event, the Jump-a-Thon, and through this program over $47,000 was pledged to Chase Away K9 Cancer.
Over 1,200 pledges were made for a total of over $47,000. The top five teams and their totals were: Cera and Elsie May: $10,506; Ryan, Lisa & Bridger $3,382; Pam & Brandy $2,657; Kristi & Buddy $2,542; Julie & Caddis $1,576. The top 13 all raised over $1,000 each, and another 13 teams brought in between $500-$1,000. Additionally, at the DockDogs Awards Banquet, Royal Canin pledged $5,000 and Carolina DockDogs and Metropolitan Supply each presented checks for over $2,000.
