Welcome to the ACVIM Foundation
In just over 30 years, animal health has improved significantly. In large part, we owe that progress to the work of specialists in the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM). The ACVIM Foundation's central mission is to support and advance studies in veterinary internal medicine that lead directly to new techniques in diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disease.
The ACVIM Foundation's focus is to strengthen the ACVIM's leadership role in generating new knowledge that translates directly into veterinary practice. Whether the challenge is to conquer existing and emerging diseases, strengthen failing hearts, or stem the tide of cancer or seizures, we support pioneering research that improves animals' health and lives.
